Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrive in Delhi and Night rest at
Hotel.
Day 2:
Flight journey to Kathmandu. Night
rest at Kathmandu Hotel ( all passengers travel from Delhi to Kathmandu by
flight).
Day 3:
Sight seeing in Kathmandu including
Pashupatinath and Budhanilkantha Darshan. Night rest at Kathmandu Hotel.
Day 4:
Drive from Kathmandu to Nyalam (115
kms). We depart at 5.00 a.m. from our hotel to the Nepal - Tibet border along
the famous Arankiko Highway, stopping for quick break- fast at Dhulikhel and
lunch at Kodari. After completing immigration and customs formalities on both
sides (Kodari and Zangmu) we drive to the small town Nyalam (3700 mt. High).
Night rest at Nyalam.
Day 5:
Rest day for altitude
acclimatization Night rest at Nyalam.
Day 6:
After breakfast drive to Saga( 250
kms – 4500 m High) and enjoy the grand view of Mt. Shishapangma (8021 mt. High)
Gauri Shankar and other high mountains from Lalougla Pass (5050 mt. high).
Packed lunch will be served at sacred lake Pigutso. Overnight rest in Saga.
Day 7:
After breakfast Drive to Prayang
(225 km) across the vast Tibetan Plateau. Packed Lunch will be served on the
way, overnight stay in Prayang.
Day 8:
Prayang to Lake Manasarovar, FULL
MOON DAY - very auspicious day for all yatries who will have first glimpse of
Holy Manas and Darshan of Mt. Kailash from Horrchu Pass. Overnight stay camp at
the shore of lake Mansarovar.
Day 9:
The abode of God will be a lifetime
achievement. Puja, Havana worship, meditation, bath and Tarpan etc. Relax and
Explore around the Lake Mansarovar and drive to Darchen; stay over night at
Darchen.
Day 10:
Parikarma / Kora begins ; drive 8
kms to Tarboche and trek up to Diraphuk gompa. Packed lunch will be served on
the way and dinner and overnight stay at Diraphuk.
Day 11:
Trek to Zuthulphuk Gompa. Parikarma
continues, this is the day pilgrims talks about, the most difficult journey
trough out the Yatra, Trek up to Dolma La Pass (5600 m . We will offer very
short prayers at Dolmala and move towards Gaurikund. The programme is the same
as usual; Lunch on the way and Dinner at the Camp. Night rest at Zuthulphuk
(temporary tent)
Day 12:
Zuthulphuk – Darchen Hore: After
Breakfast, we will trek. We will be reaching at the point, where our jeeeps
will be waiting to drive us to Darchen, Parikarma ends. After Lunch drive to
Airalung Zangpo at the Shore of Manasarover(temporary tent only)
Day 13:
Drive back to Saga. Night rest at
Saga.
Day 14:
Journey to Nyalam and night rest at
Nyalam.
Day 15:
Journey to Nepal; Chinese emigration
and Nepal customs formalities on the way. Night rest at Kathmandu Hotel.
Day 16:
Kathmandu: Day free; at Leisure or
go for shopping. If anybody is interested to visit Mount Everest , it can be
arranged (Everest Mountain flight) at the extra cost of Pax.
Day 17:
Arrive at Delhi , Night rest at
Delhi.
Terms and Conditions
- • It is a must that all Pilgrims should have Passports. Passport should be valid for more than 6 months from the ending date of the tour. Please check your passport for validity before booking.
- • Please note that Passports should not have the remark EMIGRATION REQUIRED.
- • Please also submit 5 prints of recent photograph while booking. Please ensure that the photograph is of Zoom Mat quality.
- • Pilgrims should be less than 70 years old only. Pilgrims having asthmatic and heart problems will not be allowed for this Yatra.
- • A certificate of full body check up should be submitted before 10 days of the tour beginning day.
- • Food : - Normal Indian food will be served from Delhi to Delhi. The food suitable to the climate will be served.
- • 7. Accommodation: Hotel accommodation will be provided at Delhi, Kathmandu and Saga only. Normal lodging accommodation will be provided at Nyalam, Prayang (Accommodation is very poor at Prayang and Darchen). Temporary tent will be provided at Mansarovar, Diraphuk and Zuthulpuk.
- • Conveniences: There is no availability of western type toilets on the way in Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
- • Transport : Toyota Prado 4500 Four wheeler Vehicle will be provided (Four PAX in a Vehicle) from Kodari to Kodari (China).
- • Insurance: Necessary travel insurance should be arranged by the Pilgrims at their own cost and risk.
- • Visa : Visa will be provided by the Company. The cost for this is included in the Package cost.
- • For carrying personal luggage Yaks will be provided. Special Track provided for luggage during the Road journey in China.
- • The Company may provide for Horse/Pony, depending upon availability, for Kailash Parikrama. However, cost of the same should be borne by the Pilgrims. (We cannot take any responsibility on this matter due to the uncertain nature of the availability of Horses).
- • It is clearly understood that the Pilgrims should strictly adhere to the discipline and rules of the package and follow the instructions given by the Guide. This discipline is highly desirable in Group Tours.
- • BOOKING: The booking for this tour should be done on or before one month of the tour starting date.
